WYTHALL posted an impressive total in their Warwickshire Division Four game at home to Erdington Court.
But it proved insufficient as the visitors scrambled their way to victory.
Wythall batted first and were given a good start by Thomas Scott (44) and Ash Hussein (55). Martin Priest (25) and Thomas Williams (31) added to the total as the home side finished on 216.
On a perfect batting wicket, Erdington launched their reply and, despite two wickets for Priest, reached their target for the loss of seven wickets.
Wythall will be hoping for a better result when they meet Arden Forest this weekend.
