PROFESSIONALS from the Abbey and Redditch Golf Clubs will battle it out at Stratford in the Maxfli PGA Assistants' Championship after being drawn together in the regional heat.
Redditch's Neil Turley and the Abbey's Robert Davies are in the second group out on Tuesday along with Forest of Arden's Mark Watkins.
The winners at the Stratford Oaks Golf Club will qualify for the Maxfli final at St Annes Old, near Blackpool, in September with the chance of a £4,000 prize and an invite to the PGA of America Assistants' Championship.
Redditch Golf Club is hosting the Midlands regional heat of the Glenmuir Club Professional Championship on Thursday.
The winners will qualify for the finals at the County Louth links course near Drogheda, Ireland in June and will be chasing a £10,000 first prize.
