IT was a barrel of laughs for children at a Catshill school when a famous TV comic dropped in to present them with a new bus.
Jasper Carrott handed over the keys to the new vehicle to pupils at Chadsgrove School, in Meadow Road.
The bus was bought by the Variety Club with funds raised from a celebrity golf tournament and will be used to take the youngsters on special outings.
After the presentation Jasper spent the morning visiting children in their classrooms, swapped jokes with them and handed out autographs.
Headteacher Richard Aust said: "He was a real star.
"All the children were very excited to meet him."
