Redditch United Ladies came from behind to beat fifth-placed Bustleholme 3-1.
The visitors made an early breakthrough but Redditch levelled before half-time when midfielder Hayley Evans netted.
Despite the intense heat of the day, Redditch looked the livelier side and dictated the second half.
A penalty awarded against Bustleholme was converted with ease by Mandy Ellicott and, with continued vigour, Redditch maintained their domination with a further goal from Ellicott.
Player of the match was Becky Jones.
n And there was more joy for Redditch when they clinched a 1-0 win at Villa Aztecs Ladies.
A splendid free-kick from captain Sam Tayler that was placed into the top corner, gave the home side the advantage.
Play continued with Redditch the stronger side helped by Becky Jones, Natalie Lawrence and Sarah Edney vying for the next goal.
A sullen Villa Aztec side continued to chase the Redditch team and only bad luck kept attempts by Becky Newman, Ellicott and Jenny Brown from adding to the goal tally.
