AT the Greig Hall on May 8, Alistair McBrayne, from Leamington, presented an extremely interesting and broad selection of exciting white and red wines from around the world for members to taste and enjoy.
Alistair shared his enthusiasm and fascinating information about the production of each wine - the difference between organic and chemical wines, the rise in popularity of wines from specific regions and which countries and years give the best quality.
The choice of wines was obviously very skilfully selected as after tasting six white and six red wines, one could still distinguish new flavours and although there was much giggling on the night, there appeared to be no hangovers the next day!
The next meeting on May 22 includes a talk by The Samaritans.
