MEMBERS were entertained at the May meeting by Daphne Everett, who gave an interesting talk on "The History of the English Garden".
She covered the design and fashion of gardens right through the ages from Roman times up to the present day, with some excellent slides and a wealth of knowledge of a fascinating subject.
It was interesting to see how designs have developed and changed over the years.
Next month's meeting will be held on June 6, at the usual venue, Wythall Village Hall, Alcester Road, Wythall, at 7.30pm.
John Delaney will talk about Fuchsias and how to successfully grow them.
Everyone is most welcome.
