TRIPS to Amsterdam and Arnhem were part of the entertainment organised for Worcester tourists who visited their twin town of Kleve in Germany.
Members of the Worcester Twinning Association spent a week in the northern German town staying with host families.
John Cave, vice-president of the association, said many of the couples had been friends since the twinning began in 1987.
"Karl-Heinz Koster, one of the organisers, had arranged a very full programme, including trips to Amsterdam, Arnhem and Xanten.
"One of the highlights was a social evening with a superb barbecue and an impromptu scene from Cinderella with volunteers from Kleve and Worcester taking part.
"The twinning with Kleve after 14 years is as strong as ever, and the Kleve people will be making a return visit in October.
"Those involved are already looking forward to it."
