POOR plans look set to lead to further delays for the controversial town centre development.
Planning chiefs have recommended councillors throw out proposals for phases two to four at a meeting tonight and a decision is likely to be deferred.
The proposals by developer Centros Miller have been slammed for poor urban design, poor architectural quality, poor commercial mix and a lack of certainty over content.
Wyre Forest planning chief Jake Berriman has recommended refusal to the planning (development control) sub-committee meeting.
He said the developer should submit revised plans to address concerns which include fragmented pedestrian movement and weak site containment in the urban design.
Architectural weaknesses include lack of clear architectural focus and local character in the plans.
