POLICE are hunting the driver of a Vauxhall Cavalier who overtook and then reversed at speed into another vehicle in a road rage attack.
The incident, which police described as "calculated and aggressive", happened on the A450, between Mustow Green and Hagley, at 3pm on Saturday.
The female driver and passenger in the other vehicle, a Rover Metro, were unhurt but were left "very shaken" by the incident, according to police.
It came after the Metro was forced to brake sharply when pulling forward at the island at Mustow Green because a red Vauxhall Cavalier had failed to indicate right.
The driver of the Cavalier, registration E290 UBU, swore and shouted abuse at the two women in the Metro before travelling up the A450, followed by the Metro.
The Cavalier pulled over to the left and the Metro drove past. However, the Cavalier driver then overtook the Metro near a bend in the road, close to the Broome village exit, by crossing solid white lines.
He then slammed on his brakes causing the Metro to drive into the back of his car, drove forwards again and reversed at speed, smashing into the front of the Metro.
The driver of the Cavalier is described as a 55-year-old, 6ft tall, bald white male.
He has missing teeth and a tan and was wearing a yellow shirt and glasses.
