ATHLETICS: Robin Sedman-Smith was the leading Kidderminster Running Club member in the first of the Worcestershire Midweek 10k Road Race series at Arley.
Sedman-Smith's fine performance in 34 minutes 23 seconds gave him first position for the club and second overall.
Tom Kenderdine was close on his heels in 35-17 for a third overall placing and Rob Chrzan was third in 37-29.
Paul Thornton recorded 38-14, Gary Bonner 38-41, Dave Wood 38-52, Ian Townsend 39-08, Neil Kerr 41-11, Nick Brown 41-47 and Arthur Sheward 42-34.
Sue Howarth was the first lady to cross the line in 44-56.
Other finishers included Ron Payne, 45-09, Gillian Foote, 45-58, Dave Carter, 46-06, Mick Warren, 46-14, Mike Hudson, 47-21, and Pauline Fryer, 58-57.
