ON behalf of my parents I would like to thank the man in Tesco, Evesham, who saw my mother, unknowingly, drop her purse, and returned it to her last Friday.
She thanked him but, unfortunately, he did not give his name.
They believe he was a member of staff.
The reason I am writing to you is to once again extend my parents' thanks and at the same time. echo my father's words which were: "How nice it was to see a person (who probably thought nothing of handing her purse back) being honest and kind for a change."
I'm sure many people would have done the same thing, but I feel that such a good deed would be pleasant to read in the Journal instead of the latest misdemeanour.
MS DEBORAH M CRAIGS, Fairfield Road, Evesham.
