POLICE have launched a new campaign aimed at driving car crime out of Kidderminster town centre. PC Tim Bower gives car security leaflets to Christian Roelink in Bromsgrove Street car park, Kidderminster.
Officers with a mobile unit will be visiting car parks around Kidderminster centre until tomorrow to encourage members of the public to be more aware of the ways they can protect the safety of themselves and their vehicles.
As well as handing out leaflets and offering advice, officers will be on the look-out for vehicles classed as vulnerable because they been left unattended with valuable items such as handbags on display. Owners of these vehicles will receive an advisory letter.
