A PAIR of underwear thieves are being hunted by police after they crept into the Contessa shop in Evesham and escaped with £282 of stock - one of them clutching a bread bin.
The crooks took 11 chemises and six wraps, all lilac and blue, from the Bridge Street shop at 1.30pm on Monday.
One, a man, is described as being in his early 20s with dark hair. He was wearing a blue top.
His woman accomplice had long blonde hair which she wore loose and was wearing dark clothing. She was carrying a silver bread bin.
After the theft they both ran in the direction of the Pearce Construction premises and jumped into a red vehicle, possibly a Metro.
Anyone with information about the theft should contact Worcester police on 01905 723888, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
