MOTHER of two, Jill Baker of Corse, has just graduated from the Open University with a BSc 2:1 honours degree.
She also received the University's Diploma in European Humanities. It has taken Jill six years of study in her spare time whilst looking after her husband Marcus and her sons Luke and Nicholas but also working part time as a nurse. The subjects also included social science, education issues, child development, health promotion, the "enlightenment" and the "renaissance".
The award ceremony took place at Chelten-ham Town Hall.
Winners in the Corse & Staunton Village Hall '100 Club' for April were 1 Mrs Southall, 2 Mr R Thomas, 3 Mr T Jenkins, 4 Mrs V Allen.
