USERS of Upton Hill Centre have been given extra time to move out, as builders are not expected to move in before June 11.
The Hillbillies Playgroup, which had been expecting to go by May 20, can now stay put until half term.
It is hoping to get planning permission for temporary use of a building at The Glebe playing field, Church End, Hanley Castle, during the building operation. Hill Centre chairman Sheina Stockton said it should be possible to carry on using the football pitches during the building work, although there would be no changing facilities.
