I AM a responsible owner of a well- behaved dog and we walk the hills often. I could not agree more with David Tarplett.
Not only since the re-opening of part of the hills, but always, I have been disgusted by the foul state of the paths, particularly near the car parks. It is so easy to carry a bag in your pocket but some people do not bother, or care, and give us all a bad name.
Perhaps there should be a sign in the car parks saying that dog fouling is an offence and owners can be prosecuted? Mr Tarplett's last remark about a ban is a pity. He obviously does not like dogs! Fine the bad but don't penalise the good!
Dog owners, please clean up your act for the sake of all of us who love the Malverns.
