WORCESTERSHIRE'S long-serving all-rounder Stuart Lampitt raised £143,362 during his benefit year.
The bumper figure was revealed by New Road officials today.
The total is a rich reward for the 34-year-old's loyal service with the County which began in 1985.
Lampitt said: "I am overwhelmed with the response to my benefit and the support I received from everyone throughout the year.
"To have a benefit is something I have always regarded as a great honour for any player. I'd like to thank the club for granting it me and am very grateful that they chose to recognise my services to the County and to the game in this way.
"My special appreciation goes to the benefit committee who worked hard throughout the year and did an excellent job of co-ordinating the efforts of all those other hard working individuals throughout the County who supported me so loyally.
"I am so grateful, and thank everyone who contributed and played a part in making the benefit so successful."
Richard Millinchip, chairman of the benefit committee, said: "Stuart's Benefit was tremendously well supported by loyal County fans and this contributed to its great success.
"On behalf of the benefit committee and Stuart I would like to thank the supporters and members of Worces-tershire for their support throughout what proved to be an enjoyable and deservedly successful benefit year."
New Road secretary Mike Vockins said: "It's super seeing someone like Stuart being recognised in such a splendid and tangible way, and the benefit committee are to be congratulated on their tremendous endeavours.
"I know our members and supporters will be delighted at this outcome and delighted for Stuart that such a deserving cause was so well supported."
