TORRENTIAL rain dampened Stourport Swifts' Midland Alliance title challenge last night.
The match at Bloxwich Town was postponed at 3pm and will now be replayed next Thursday.
Leaders Rushall Olympic travel to Halesowen Harriers tomorrow with Swifts taking on Oadby Town at Walshes Meadow on Monday night.
Club secretary, Nigel Green, said the postponement was disappointing but inevitable. "I work in Halesowen and the rain was horrendous so I wasn't surprised," he said.
"Bloxwich have a problem with one end which is by a canal and have a pump there most of the time anyway. It just means Monday's game is a bit of an anti-climax."
Title rivals Rushall, meanwhile, have appealed to the Alliance after claiming Swifts have an unfair advantage with their fixtures. Rushall boss John Allen said: "I would have liked both teams to have been playing on the same day.
"I think it's an unfair advantage, especially because the title could be decided on goal difference."
Swifts hold their annual presentation evening tonight.
n Malvern Town entertain Walsall Wood in the Banks Brewery League Premier Division tomorrow, while Bromyard Town visit Little Drayton Rangers (both 3pm).
