DROITWICH golfer, John Bickerton, took his season's earnings over the £100,000 mark when he fired a last round 66 for tied tenth place and £29,500 at the Deutsche Bank Open in Heidelberg.
Bickerton finished nine shots behind Tiger Woods to move to 29th in the Volvo Order of Merit.
The 31-year-old lies 23rd in the Ryder Cup points table with £142,042.
For the incredible Woods it was his 26th victory from his last 51 starts and earned him prize money of £278,024.
The highlight of Woods' round was an eagle two on the 13th when he holed a 175-yard seven-iron.
In a further twist, Woods tackled the last 18 holes on the St Leon Rot course with a borrowed driver after he snapped his during practice before the final round on Saturday.
