A BRICKLAYER from Pershore has been ordered to pay £350 compensation to a town hotel after breaking three windows.
James Hargreaves, aged 27, of Pensham Hill, Pershore, pleaded guilty at Droitwich court last Thursday to causing criminal damage at the Angel Hotel on May 6 and was also conditionally discharged for 12 months and ordered to pay £55 costs.
Julie Rosamund, prosecuting, said Hargreaves and a friend were drinking in the hotel bar.
The pair were asked to leave the bar, which made Hargreaves angry and he broke the 9ins by 6ins leaded panes by banging on the windows from the outside.
Brian O'Connell, for Hargreaves, said: "He realises what he did was wrong."
