VICTORIA/BLAKELEY Hall came close to victory in Worcestershire League Division Three against Oldswinford but the last man fell with six runs needed.
Oldswinford batted first and were reduced to 48-5 with David Bannister claiming three early wickets.
Dropped catches and indifferent fielding let the visitors off the hook and they finished on 233-8, Attwood (79) and Perks (54) helping make the target.
In reply, Victoria got off to a good start putting on 50 for the first wicket but with three wickets falling in quick succession the outlook did not appear so good.
However, with David Mitchell (74) and Paul Thomas (54) at the crease it looked brighter but the elusive final six runs were not to be.
Oldswinford 233-8, Victoria 228.
Victoria seconds claimed a winning draw against Oldswinford after posting 186-7.
Captain Adrian Miller led the way with 54, assisted by 15-year-old Kelvin Barrett whose tidy innings produced 29 runs. Every batsman contributed to a useful score.
The home side never looked in contention as Barrett and D Webb claimed two wickets each.
Victoria 186-7, Oldswinford 125-6.
