STRIKE action could throw Droitwich Spa's courts into chaos.
Staff at Worcestershire courts, including the Spa's Ombersley Street East court, are considering boycotting work over being moved to new buildings.
About 75 per cent of court staff face a transfer.
Spa employees could relocate to Worcester in the autumn when the new Castle Street court opens.
Staff based at Redditch move to the new Kidderminster court in July.
The Association of Magisterial Officers (AMO) fears some workers will quit their jobs unless relocation costs are guaranteed.
An AMO spokesman said: "Our members are not traditionally militant but they can't accept the current management offer."
West Mercia Magistrates' Courts Committee chief executive Nick Jones said the service had pledged to abide by nationally agreed conditions, such as relocation costs.
He added: "I can't comment on what will happen if the union decides to strike."
