GOLF gem Aaron Rogers caused a stir by picking up the trophy at the Worcestershire Junior County Championships.
Held at his home club, Kidderminster in Russell Road, the 13-year-old Wolverley High School pupil impressed off a handicap of 19.
Rogers' achievement was all the more impressive as he competed against older players in the U-18s competition.
He has benefited from good family relations as he is coached by his father Andrew's uncle, Kidderminster professional Nick Underwood.
Aaron's mother Julie said: "He was really chuffed as he has won different things in the past but this was a big achievement.
"Both he and his brother Luke want to get into golf eventually."
