A NEW bench donated by The Forge Millers has recently been installed in the grounds of Forge Mill Museum.
The Forge Millers are members of the Forge Mill Trust, which was instrumental in setting up the needle museum in the 1980s.
Some original members of the group are still active as volunteers and a brass plaque on the bench acknowledges the group's contributions to the museum over the years.
The trust has now folded and part of the remaining assets were used to commission the bench from Redditch charity Where Next.
The idea to install the bench came after the museum sought advice from Redditch Disabled Access Group (RDAG) on how access could be improved.
The group asked for a bench to be placed at the top of a slope leading up to the museum.
