CATSHILL U8s enjoyed the Catshill five-a-side fun day tournament winning three games, drawing two, scoring nine goals and only conceding two. The lads eventually came through as outright winners with Headless Cross runners up. Team members were Matthew Fannen, Andrew Turnbull, John Ross, Zak Timmins, James Lund, Sam Brown, Tom Gwinnett and Sam Wright. All team members took a medal home for their effort and picked up the cup for the first time. Catshill under 8s management would like to thank all the team for their hard work throughout the season and look forward to seeing members and their families at the presentation evening on Friday June 15 at the Lickey End Club.
Bromsgrove Corinthians U11s 3 Rubery JuniorsU11s 0. Jon Frost scored twice in the first half to give the Corries the advantage at the break. The second half was played with the same skill and determination, despite the slope being against them.With ten minutes to play, Scott Henbury on the right struck the ball accurately and the home team's 'keeper was well beaten. A very pleasing result for the final game ofthe season.
A hectic final week of the season for Cofton Falcons U16s saw them play four games. Three victories and a last day 4-2 home defeat against Knowle secured third place in the league. The victories came with a double over Bromsgrove B with scores of 3-0 and 5-3 and a 5-1 win over Coronation Star.
