WYCHBOLD RBL (1) 4 Studley Sporting (0) 2. After a cracking 6-0 victory over closest rivals Mayfly last week, all the good work was undone on Thursday with a defeat against in-form Lodge Park by 3-2. A good result against Studley Sporting was a must and RBL did just that on a hot Sunday morning.

Temporary player/manager Darren Maycroft deserved to be the man of the match with his excellent driving force and encouragement.

Just a one goal advantage in the first half by Matthew Jenkins was all RBL could show for all their hard work, although Studley defended very well and caused the occasional problem when pushing forward.

Studley came back well in the second half and drew level through Damien Carter.

RBL then came back and scored two quick goals through their excellent young striker Matthew Jenkins for his hat-trick.

Studley scored their second through Jamie O'Brien and were looking good but Jenkins put paid to the visitors with his fourth goal to put his tally so far this season to an amazing 31 goals, keeping RBL on top of Division One -- just.

With only three games left it could be a very tight finish.

Midway Plant (1) 1 RBL Reserves (3) 6. RBL Reserves recorded only their fourth league victory of the season with a resounding victory over bottom club Midway Plant. Goals by MoM Scott Weatherby (three), Dave Riordan, Adam Worrollo and Dean Maycroft saw them coast home, but still remain second from bottom of Division Four.

Droitwich Spa (2) 3 Wychbold RBL (1) 2. Spa dented RBL's hopes of winning the Division One title with this victory over their neighbours. The game was a thriller and Spa took a 2-0 lead. RBL pulled a goal back through man of the match Nolan Talbot and the Legionnaires started to claw their way back into the game.

Spa looked the better of the two teams, but it was RBL who scored the next goal to equalise through Neil McCullough's strike on the hour. The game was end to end and looked to be heading for a draw, but Spa won with virtually the last kick of the game.

Wychbold RBL Reserves (0) 2 Midway Plant (2) 3. Midway Plant secured a deserved victory over their nearest rivals and revenged a 6-1 defeat the week before. Goals by Jay Robinson (two) and Paul Sedglock were enough to cancel out RBL's goals, scored by Dan Colley.
