A MIXTURE of catwalk modelling and live performance is on the programme of events to mark the launch of a confidence-building group in Rubery.
Models Two is an organisation which invites people who need to increase their self-esteem through drama, modelling and learning grooming skills.
Classes are set to be held at Waseley Hills High School, in School Road, each week -- the day is yet to be decided. To raise the profile of the organisation, Models Two, which hails from South Africa, is hosting an evening of entertainment which includes a three-part play filled with singing and music.
Joint leader Yvonne Howes picked youngsters from the village school to appear in the show and the clothes on show are on sale after the event.
This Friday, pensioners from residential homes throughout Bromsgrove are invited to see a dress rehearsal of the show and the following night, Saturday June 2, is open to the public. Held at the Spadesbourne Suite, in Burcot Lane, tickets are £6, including a finger buffet, wine and interval drinks, and proceeds will go to the Burma Star Association.
