FARMERS' markets will return to Wychavon in June - three months after the foot-and-mouth crisis put paid to the initiative.
The first market will be held on Saturday, June 2, in High Street, Droitwich.
Along with fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables there will be a pig roast, fresh bread, cakes, pastries and much more.
"It was a great shame that the markets were hit by the foot-and-mouth situation just at a time when they were really taking off," said Lew Hammand, town centres officer at Wychavon District Council.

"They offer a great opportunity to buy good quality home-grown produce.
"They also provide shoppers with a chance of showing their support for farmers and producers at a time which has proved extremely tough for them."
A second farmers' market will be held in Droitwich on Sunday, June 17, to coincide with the Water Festival in Vines Park.
Farmers' markets will return to Evesham on Friday, June 22, in the car park outside the retail market in the High Street.
