OUR party believes in a return to more traditional methods of teaching.
I want to see the balance of power taken from educational bureaucrats more towards governors, headteachers, teachers them- selves and more involvement of parents to encourage.
Equal opportunities should be given to children from less advantaged backgrounds.
I believe in top quality education for all in Redditch regardless of background, race or income. We will work towards reducing class sizes, particularly at junior level, where the foundations of learning should be laid.
Dividend of funds released as a result of departure from the EU will be converted into paying for more quality teachers. UKIP aims for an education policy that reflects the concerns of parents and many teachers, not self-proclaimed educational experts.
A further concern is politically slanted teaching, especially in history, English and personal and social education.
Issues to be addressed are biased, insidious EU programmes to brainwash our children so they grow up believing uncritically in the European Ideal, without the mention of democracy.
Imagine how much our children's education could be improved with the will and monies we could recover from the withdrawal of the EU. The people of Redditch will be astonished to realise we are giving over £200 million every week to be part of this unaccountable corrupt economic union, money better spent on our own social needs.
Stay British, vote UKIP.
