WOMEN'S self-defence courses come to Bromsgrove next month, courtesy of British Free Fighting Academy black belt Wendy Hopwood.
Wendy, a free fighting national instructor, will take the four-week sessions available to women aged 15 and above.
The classes concentrate on all the basic forms of self defence for women, including releases from grabs and holds, defence in mugging situations and the correct striking techniques.
It kicks off at the Ryland Centre, New Road, on Monday July 18 between 7pm and 8pm.
