A CAMPAIGN to give Bromsgrove a spring clean has been dubbed a huge success by officers in a report set to be heard tomorrow night by Bromsgrove District Council.
The authority's Just Bin It initiative, which ran last month, replaced the Tidy Britain Group's National Spring Clean Month.
The report, set to be presented to the executive cabinet, shows hot spots where litter-picking initiatives took place.
Aston Fields Middle School, in Drummond Road, binned rubbish from its grounds and surrounding areas, a Rubery resident tidied up the Hazel Road and Beacon Hill area of the village and Barnt Green Parish Council targeted the village armed with bin bags.
Around 100 bags of litter were collected this year by members of the public who joined the fight against litter.
