POLICE are still appealing for witnesses to a robbery in Hereford when a man robbed a pensioner in broad daylight, stealing her handbag.
The attack happened on Sunday, May 6, in Union Street.
The elderly woman was robbed at around 10.15am by a man described as being white and aged in his late teens to early 20s.
He was seen to run off into Commercial Square towards Maylord Orchard Shopping Centre.
The man is approximately 5ft 6in tall and was wearing a woollen hat, with a grey or green jacket and trousers.
"We're appealing to anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the attack or who may have seen anything relating to this incident to come forward," said PC Nicky Heath.
