CONSERVATIVES will be visiting Royal Worcester Porcelain tomorrow as part of a fact-finding tour.
West Midlands MEPs Philip Bradbourn and Malcolm Harbour will join the Conservative parliamentary candidate for Worcester, Richard Adams, in looking at the factory's prospects.
"I look forward to finding out more about Royal Worcester and their experiences in the current economic climate," said Mr Harbour, co-chairman of the European Parliament's ceramics forum.
"Excessive European legislation is a matter of grave concern for businesses in the Midlands."
Mr Bradbourn, a member of the legal affairs and internal markets committee in the European Parliament, said the porcelain company was "contributing a great deal to the strong standing this region has on the European stage".
County councillors Michael Cairns, Ted Sheldon and June Longmuir are to accompany the tour.
