CAPE Town Philarmonia Choir's British tour will reach a spectacular finale in Worcester Cathedral when the South African Choir teams up with the Elgar Chorale for a joint performance of The Dream of Gerontius.
The soloists for the performance are Sally Burgess, Robert Johnson and Laurence Albert.
The orchestra is the English Northern Philharmonia of Opera North.
The performance will be directed by Dr Donald Hunt who recently conducted The Dream of Gerontius in Cape Town, to great critical acclaim.
The Cape Town Choir was formed as an oratorio choir in 1967 and is now the leading choral society in Africa.
The performance will be on Elgar's birthday, June 2, at 7.30pm. Tickets are available from The Cathedral gift shop and the Guildhall's tourist information centre on 01905 726311.
