A YOUTH band and dance troupe will be performing its own water music next week when youngsters take to the river at Stourport.
Kidderminster-based Royal British Legion Youth Band and Dance Troupe enjoyed taking part in last year's BBC Music Live event so much they decided to stage their own event this year, even though there will be no official Music Live activities outside Yorkshire. Sisters Hayley Davies, 15, five-year-old Jodie and Nicola, 11, are joining forces for a musical event in Stourport.
The event will be held on and around the river near Stourport Bridge on Saturday, where members of the group will be performing from noon to 6pm. There will also be a barbecue and bouncy castle.
The group, including sisters Hayley Davies, 15, five-year-old Jodie and Nicola, 11, will go on to entertain passengers on a ferry between Fishguard and Rosslare on Sunday.
They will be at Cardigan Bay Caravan Park on Bank Holiday Monday.
