AS vice-patron of the British Polio Fellowship, I am writing to ask your readers to help me with an important campaign called Outreach 2001.
Since 1998 we have been attempting to reach every person in the British Isles who has had polio. We have important information for them concerning new health problems they may be experiencing, and essential advice, which may enable polio survivors to minimise the risk of long-term damage to their health.
So I am appealing to those of your readers who have had polio themselves, or who know somebody who has been affected by the disease, to contact the Fellowship by Freephone 0800 0180586, or by e-mail at info@britishpolio.org.
