I HAVE just returned from another identity parade, organised by the police.
The 15 members of the ID parade were recruited and standing by.
Expenses paid for these members of the public are £10 each.
The police arranged everything, all was in place and the witnesses were collected from the pre-arranged meeting point.
The total cost to the taxpayer was approximately £200. Not to mention the cost of police involvement.
Yes, you've guessed already - the accused did not surrender to his bail.
This was the second time I have attended as witness in an attempt to pick out this thief from the ID parade, and he failed to turn up last time.
What a waste of police time, what a waste of resources, what a waster.
My opinion is that as he has failed to "show up" for the second time for an ID parade, he should be deemed guilty and sentenced accordingly.
