Stanton Village Club, the only English club with a French president, is actively recruiting keen new members who can wave the willow, sink a few pints and play on one of England's prettiest cricket grounds.

Among the luminaries to have turned out on their field of dreams are WG Grace, Malcolm Marshall and David Gower.
So if you fancy giving it a go, contact team manager Robin Williams on 01242 621483.
