A WIDE range of activities for children during half-term has been arranged by Number 8 in Pershore.

The programme begins on May 29 with Dance at 8, a beginners Salsa workshop from 10 to 11am for seven to 17-year-olds. There is also a beginners American jive workshop for the same age range from 11am to 12noon.

Sylken Players, a marionette show followed by a movement workshop, is on May 30 with A Ring of Gold, for three to five- year-olds from 1 to 2pm and A Fisher Lad From Harris, for five to seven- year-olds from 2.30 to 3.30pm.

The VIPPOR workshop on May 31 involves making an instrument and using voice and physical means to create a loud 'Stomp' style performance piece. Sessions run from 10am to 12noon for 10 to 12-year-olds and from 1 to 3pm for 13-year-olds and upwards.

An Undersea art workshop includes Funny Fish and Fishy Fun for two to four-year-olds from 1 to 2pm and In an Octopus Garden for five to seven- year-olds from 2.30 to 4pm.

On June 1, To Catch a Dream art workshop runs from 1.30 to 4.30pm for eight to 12-year-olds.
