PAST employees of a former department store's Kidderminster branch could be in line for cash pay-outs.
Owen Owen was a major employer, with more than 5,000 workers in the Midlands alone, and staff who worked for the now obsolete nationwide store and have since fallen on hard times could be eligible for help.
The Owen Owen No 1 Trust said cash could be available for former staff depending on circumstance, and many people may not realise money is available.
Store founder Mr Owen Owen set up the trust in 1900 for employees who suffer hardship.enerally the grants are limited to those on a low income, below £9,000 for a single person and £11,000 for a couple.
