COUNCILLORS will make a site visit to decide whether fast food giant McDonalds can build a third restaurant in Kidderminster.
Members of Wyre Forest District Council's planning (development control) committee will decide if another eatery is suitable on land next to Park Street, Chapel Street and the ring road island at Bewdley Road.
An identical plan was thrown out by councillors last November amid fears of noise disturbance and traffic congestion, but planning officer Mike Parker has decided a site visit is necessary.
McDonalds already has restaurants in Worcester Street and off Worcester Road in Kidderminster, but is bidding to build a third on land cleared years ago for the abandoned fifth stage of the ring road.
