A combined 1940s/Poppy Appeal evening was held at the club to mark the 80th year of the Stourport RBL, which began in 1921.
The main aim of the evening was to boost the funds of the Poppy Appeal 2000, which ends on May 31.
The event was attended by Stourport's new mayor, Councillor Michael Grinnall, and several legion officers, members and guests.
Many people were dressed in 1940s style clothes, and the Armoured Vehicle Preservation Society brought some of their vehicles.
Stourport was already on the way to receiving recognition for a record increase in donations over the last year, but this honour was secured at the event, the generosity of those present taking the Appeal 2000 to more than £6,000.
