I DO look forward to being able to ride my bicycle along Lowesmoor cycle and bus lane, unhindered by cars bumper to bumper, and not being cut up by the car drivers in their haste to enter this restricted zone (Quality street crusade, Evening News, Thursday, May 17).
My daughter can now look forward to walking to school on the footpath in safety and not having to walk into the roads because a car has parked, taking up the whole path.
Why do I look forward to this idyllic way of life?
I look forward to this idyll because Worcester now has a police force that will operate a zero tolerance policy to curb anti-social behaviour.
Dream on! Could it be the truth is that we are nearing a General Election and certain people have been rattling the Chief Constable's cage and suggesting that just for a few weeks, it might be a good idea if the police actually took law enforcement seriously?
ROBERT LEE, Worcester.
