A NEW £100,000 science laboratory has been unveiled at Sion Hill Middle School, Kidderminster.
The facilities were officially launched by Ruth Hoskins, who retired as head of science at the school last year and had long been asking for a new laboratory to replace the existing 1959 model.
A food technology room, music rooms and 3D art display area have been built at the Broadwaters school in the past nine months.
Future plans include 30 new computers and a drama and art studios.
Head Gordon Wainwright said: "We believe that we are now able to offer our pupils some of the best facilities in the county."
