ORGANISERS of the biggest exhibition ever to be staged at Hanbury Hall are counting down to its opening next week.
Visitors to the Tercentenary Exhibition will show how the National Trust property has developed over the past 300 years, with emphasis on what life was like for the family, employees and estate tenants.
Thomas Vernon's study will also be opening for the first time ever.
"The show will follow various members of the Vernon family through the centuries and looks at how they changed the Hall and gardens over time," said a spokesman for the National Trust.
"Our conversion work will also be illustrated, as well as our plans for the future."
The exhibition is set to run from Friday, June 1 until the end of October, on Sundays to Wednesdays from 1.30pm to 5pm. Admission prices have been cut to £3 for adults and £1.50 for children.
