VOTERS go to the polls for Worcestershire County Council elections as well as the parliamentary election on Thursday, June 7.
There are 38 candidates in 11 Wyre Forest wards for the county poll.
Conservatives currently hold 25 county seats but the council is run by a Labour-Liberal Democrat coalition.
Labour has 21 seats and the Liberal Democrats 8.
The other three members of the 57-strong authority are Health Concern, Liberal and Independent councillors.
Polling stations for both parliamentary and county elections will be open from 7am until 10pm.
The Wyre Forest parliamentary result is expected to be announced at about 3am on Friday, June 9.
The count for the Wyre Forest wards in the county elections will start at 10.30am on Friday June 9, and results should be known by noon.
