TV personality Fred Dibnah will be among the attractions at the Steam Fair and Country Show at Eastnor Castle.
The popular steeplejack will be bringing his mighty steam engine Atlas to the event on Bank Holiday Monday (May 28).
The castle's owner, James Hervey-Bathurst, will join Fred on board Atlas, which they restored together.
Fred will be signing copies of his various book for visitors.
There will also be a good selection of other working engines.
Castle manager Simon Foster said the last steam fair was the most successful event of the year, with more than 4,500 visitors in one day.
"People are just fascinated with history and the castle is such an appropriate backdrop and lends itself to this event really well," he said.
Other attractions will include free rides around the castle grounds on Weston's horse-drawn cider dray, falconry displays, fly fishing, archery and horse and carriage driving. There will be hot food and a licensed bar.
"We rather hope we might get a few more visitors this year. So far numbers have been well up due to the foot and mouth crisis because people have been desperate to get out and find things to do," said Mr Foster.
Eastnor Castle will also be the venue for a Festival of Wood on Sunday, June 10.
Attractions will include fine furniture makers, green wood coppice workers, basket makers, chainsaw sculpture and heavy horse timber demonstrations.
This event was held for the first time last year and Mr Foster said it was very successful.
"All of last year's 50 exhibitors are coming back without exception and we're expecting another 25," said Mr Foster. "There will also be a lot of activities for children."
Tickets to both events cost £3 for adults and £2 for children.
