Bill Clinton is putting in an appearance at the Hay Festival of Arts and Literature tomorrow (Saturday).
The former US president, who is currently on a European lecture tour, will be giving a talk on Conflict Resolution as well as answering questions from the audience.
Tickets to see Mr Clinton cost £100 each and were largely sold out in advance to the Friends of the Festival.
The festival itself was launched yesterday by 90s pop act Pulp and features a whole range of acts including former Beatle Paul McCartney.
Novelist Louis de Bernires, comedian David Baddiel, David Lodge, Anne Widdecombe, Clive James and Van Morrison will be there, as will
Melvyn Bragg, Jenni Murray, John Humphreys, Alan Ayckbourn and Germaine Greer.
The festival, which continues until Sunday, June 3, is also a fantastic outlet for a new generation of writers.
