Currently living with his wife and school-age daughter in Franche, Mike came to council involvement via the Federation of Council Tenants. He is a district councillor serving Greenhill ward and a board member of Wyre Forest Community Housing. He is very involved in resolving housing matters for people.

As an active hospital campaigner and keen supporter of Dr Taylor's hospital campaign, he wishes to scrutinise Worcestershire's health services more closely and effectively from the county council, while being involved with policy-making to improve road provision, maintenance and cleaning, transport, education services and recreation and leisure facilities.

Always pursuing best value options for taxpayers' money, Mike is determined to improve services that Wyre Forest people rely on.
