Margaret is a locally retired shop assistant.

She has been actively involved in local issues since the announcement of the downgrading of Kidderminster Hospital.

As a retired grandmother, she marched through the town with many of her neighbours, objecting to the health authority's decision to downgrade Kidderminster Hospital.

She feels strongly that it shouldn't be the same old faces representing the people election after election. New faces will bring new views and she wants to be one of the new faces.

Margaret works voluntarily for a local charitable organisation. She spends most of her time helping with advice for the elderly community on the Offmore Farm estate. She is chairman of the Tenants Consultative Committee for Offmore and Comberton.

She says she would be delighted to serve on the county council, working with the next Conservative administration and speaking up for the residents of St Chads after years of neglect.
